Hi, I'm Jessie 👋🏻
I am a fitness & food coach who specializes in strength training, running, and mobility of athletes, desk workers, and Netflix lovers alike. I provide fitness plans, organize group exercise and running meet-ups, and do not often enter a typical gym. My goal is to help you train for whatever is next in your life - a race, a sport season, or life in general - pain free. I have been a student athlete, I have been a brand new runner through marathoner, and I have experienced the aches and pains that come from simply sitting too much. After discussing your life and your needs, we will decide upon a fitness and/or nutrition plan and check-in method that works for you.
My food philosophy is flexible, but revolves around healthier easy choices. I am all about convenience, but that doesn't always have to mean unhealthy! Getting diagnosed with Crohn's disease is what prompted me to start learning about nutrition and how I could improve my health through food. I chose to tweak my diet one more time after adopting my first dog Abby, who made me decide to no longer eat animals. I became a vegetarian 2.5 years ago, but coach plant and meat eaters alike.
Outside of fitness and food coaching I love to hang out with my dogs and husband, watch tv, eat good food that I didn't have to cook, volunteer for and run races, and admittedly spend too much time on social media. I also love supporting charities and causes that are important to me, like Girls on the Run, Team Challenge/Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, Dressember, and local community causes.
