For the last 3 weeks I have been following my workout program and not falling behind for the first time EVER. Yes, I'm a coach...but I'm also human and I too struggle with committing to something and following through. So I am proud to say that I'm doing awesome with my workouts this time! I have been doing PiYo for 3 weeks straight and am now in my 4th week!
Buttttt I have NOT been paying attention to my nutrition whatsoever. And THAT is what makes you FEEL amazing inside and out, get clearer skin (meaning acne OR eczema), tone up, lose the bloat and lose weight on the scale (if that's your goal).
[I have to interrupt this message to say that lose vs loose still trips me up...why is that so hard to remember?!]
SOOO it's time for me to whip out those Fix containers again and start living in color! Planning ahead and purposefully buying the healthy foods that will make me feel best.
>>>>>If you are struggling or want to work on your nutrition too I'd LOVE for you to join me so we can support each other!!!! It is so much more fun to share with each other, encourage each other and give each other ideas :)
I will tell you right now that I am struggling with money. We have been a one car family for MONTHS now and we finally just put every penny we had into buying a second vehicle. Our bank account last night was negative and we have nothing in savings. Mike bought us Ramen for dinner because that's all we could afford.
Yet I still buy my Shakeology every month because I KNOW that I feel my best when I drink it. I KNOW that I will have pooping problems without it. TMI? Sorry my friends, but it's the truth and being exposed to so many Crohnies makes me immune to talking about poop!
I buy organic when I feel like it's the best choice for my money and I conventional the rest of the time. I avoid a TON of processed foods because they ARE more expensive, even if it doesn't feel like it. But I honestly don't get rid of ALL proceeded foods, I just make better choices about them...because I'm lazy so I don't want to make everything from scratch :-P
I feel like most people are scared because they think they have to change EVERYTHING, cut out ALL processed foods and spend a TON of money of all organic food and it just seems like too much and it's scary! You don't have to change everything little thing about what you eat, just making improvements and tweaks will help a ton and once you notice how much better you feel, you might be tempted to do more and more. Like now I am tempted to make my own tortillas from scratch because I got a griddle for Christmas...wish me luck! :-P
Anyway...like I said up there ^^^

Hi, I'm Jessie!
I live in NH with my husband and our pups. My favorite things are coaching Girls on the Run, eating good food that I didn't have to cook, helping other people work on their health, volunteering for and running races, watching tv, doing yoga, and spending too much time on social media. #Balance
