Monthly meet up - Month 2! This one doubled as a meet up and a fundraising event for CCFA and it was SO FUN! We had a small private aerial yoga class at Kama Fitness where we got to do inversions and the poses I think are really fun! We were all having a great time and were all a little bit daring, so we just kept moving on to better and better stuff :)
I have been doing yoga and PiYo off and on for about six months now. You probably know this through my headstand fails and finally my successful headstand! I haven't been totally into a practice, nor am I what I would describe as flexible. I am a runner after all, but I have been enjoying my gradual progress with yoga.
I came across aerial yoga a few months ago. A girl I went to high school with teaches it at a dance studio nearby, but her pictures looked so crazy and I was scared away.
