I'm being forced into rest. How unfortunate. My knee started bothering me last week and then I got some sort of sickness/cold/flu/I don't know what. I was supposed to run the Cinco de Miles 5K yesterday and this would be a race review post, but instead I had a fever and felt like absolute crap. So no running for me for at least a few days.
Also, I have to thank everyone who has donated! You have donated $1,480 together! My team as a whole has raised more than $140,000! That is so amazing/crazy/huge. So thank you for being a part of that. Remember that if you donate by World IBD Day-May 19, that you are automatically entered into a raffle of items that have been donated by area businesses.
Prize items that have been donated so far:
-Stop&Shop - $25 gift card
-Main Street Market (Topsfield MA) - $25 gift certificate
-Luxe Nails & Spa (Topsfield MA) - $25 gift certificate
-Las Olas Taqueria (Exeter/Hampton NH) - $15 gift card
-America’s Stonehenge (Salem NH) - 4 passes ($44 value)
-Rock Your Body (Fremont NH) - 1 Month Unlimited Membership
-Runner’s Alley (Portsmouth/Manchester/Nashua NH)- $25 gift certificate
-Seacoast Sports Clubs (Portsmouth/Hampton/Seabrook/Newmarket NH) – 1 Month Membership
So thank you again and good luck on being chosen in the raffle!
Hi, I'm Jessie!
I live in NH with my husband and our pups. My favorite things are coaching Girls on the Run, eating good food that I didn't have to cook, helping other people work on their health, volunteering for and running races, watching tv, doing yoga, and spending too much time on social media. #Balance
