Here is a glimpse into my accountability group. I posted this today in my private group for a Motivational Monday check-in:
I have been extremely unorganized these last 2 weeks and I apologize for that! I didn't send out my Stat-urday messages the last 2 weekends and I have been feeling like a chicken with my head cut off. There are dishes all over my kitchen and my house is a mess. I missed some workouts and didn't eat right everyday.
This quote is ringing true for me right now. Even though I got a little behind, distracted, disorganized, or whatever, I can turn it back around and hop back in where I left off.
Some people say when you go on and off 'diets' and workouts out that is called yo-yo dieting. And yo-yo dieting has a bad connotation. As long as you aren't doing crazy weird diets and are just eating healthy like all of us are, I don't think it's that horrible to 'fall off the bandwagon.' Just hop back on where you left off. We are human. We have times where we aren't as focused and times were we only have our eye on the prize.
I think 'yo-yo dieting' is sort of life. We all live lives that go up and down in every area. Whether that is working out and eating right or getting enough sleep or being focused at work. I'd rather have a life that goes up and down and be accused of yo-yo-ing than always being on the way down. At least with yo-yo-ing you are still pulling yourself out of funks and bringing yourself back up, heading towards your goals.
If you have gotten out of the grove like I did, jump back in and pull yourself back up towards your goals and towards success. Don't let yourself get distracted or out of it for too long and find yourself continuing on the way down. Turn it around and let's all get focused again.
Well....that's my post of the day smile emoticon I will send you guys your Stat-urday messages to check in and post my workout tonight!
Let's all get active posting our meals & workouts again! I miss seeing everyone's face and food!"

Hi, I'm Jessie!
I live in NH with my husband and our pups. My favorite things are coaching Girls on the Run, eating good food that I didn't have to cook, helping other people work on their health, volunteering for and running races, watching tv, doing yoga, and spending too much time on social media. #Balance
