Still catching up on my race recaps that I fell behind on!
This is the first time I ran this race. It's sort of weird since it's on a Tuesday night in winter so it is mostly likely always going to be pitch black and freezing cold. But it was really fun to run at night like that! I definitely over-dressed because I was afraid of being too cold and instead I was over heating! It's a fine line to tread.
This was race #3 of the year and was my lone February race. (So I HAD to do it to reach my goal of at least one race per month!)

N’awlins Grille, Manchester NH
Parking: Parking is always difficult for me when races are in downtown Manchester. I don't know the city all that well so I aimlessly drive around looking for a parking lot. And I'm usually running late. It's stressful >_<
Registration/Timing: I picked my bib up on race day. It was quick and easy. Like I said, I arrived pretty late/close the the start time, so basically everyone already had their bib and was ready to go when I got there.
Millennium Running races have the best timing/results station set up. They have the finish line clock, but then near the finish line you can go to the Results Tent/Trailer. The have the results on a TV monitor. You tell the volunteer your bib number, they type it into a computer and your official results come up on the screen. Love it! (I always say this...but it's always true!)
Facilities: I'm not exactly sure! I showed up too late to think about finding a bathroom!
Course: Pretty flat, with a few small hills. With it being winter there were a ton of potholes and crumbling pavement, which stunk, but what can ya do? It's like that pretty much everywhere in the winter.
Swag: I didn't get any swag this time. I registered too late, but you did get a tech shirt if you were one of the first 500 people registered.
Post-race you could use your 2 beer tickets at a few local bars.
Overall Review: I liked that this was a night-time race. I have never done one of those before and it was pretty cool. There was nothing wrong with this race, but it wasn't my absolute favorite either.
Will I Return? If I need a February race. It wasn't my absolute favorite, mostly because I am not a fan of downtown Manchester races. We will have to see what next February brings!

Hi, I'm Jessie!
I live in NH with my husband and our pups. My favorite things are coaching Girls on the Run, eating good food that I didn't have to cook, helping other people work on their health, volunteering for and running races, watching tv, doing yoga, and spending too much time on social media. #Balance
